The first ammo you should try in your Tikka t3 308 is the Sako gamehead pro. The 165 gr shoots half moa in mine, and I don't consider myself a crack shot!
Tried 6 different bullets in my Tikka 308. Sako 165gr gamehead pro was best at . 5 Moa.
I switched to the 308 Gamehead Pro after some lacklustre performance from another brand. These Sako cartridges have proven to be utterly emphatic. I have used them mainly in my bush rifle; everything I have shot has died quickly - no tracking, no lost animals, no fuss. Brilliant, simply brilliant.
I shoot my group in a 10mm round at 200m. Absolutely phenomenal! Loving it. Please push to have it back in stock in NZ asap. Also if you could put heavier bullet, it will be awesome.
